Details
The SSI Try Scuba class is a short, welcoming introduction to scuba diving for students who want to experience breathing underwater before committing to a full certification course.
You will learn basic safety concepts, get familiar with scuba equipment, and practice simple in-water skills under the direct supervision of an SSI Professional. The class is conducted in a pool or confined water setting, which keeps the experience controlled, comfortable, and beginner-friendly.
Try Scuba is not a full diver certification, but it is a strong first step for anyone considering Open Water Diver training. It gives you a real feel for scuba, lets you ask questions, and helps you decide whether the full certification path is right for you.
Upon completion, you will have completed the SSI Try Scuba experience and be ready to continue toward Open Water Diver if you want to keep going.
