OVERVIEW

Roatan is one of the Bay Islands off of the Honduran Coast

Perhaps no island in the Caribbean offers more distinctive or easily accessible diving than Roatan. The island’s reefs and drop-offs are teeming with colorful marine life and are ideally suited for novices and experts alike. Surrounded by the longest barrier reef in the hemisphere, Roatan offers everything from hard-core wrecks and deep fissures to peaceful eel gardens and shallow terraces where countless macro photo opportunities abound. Coral grows thickly on walls that begin in crystalline waters as shallow as 20 feet below the surface and drop to the purple depths of the Caribbean. Squadrons of eagle ray, schools of brightly colored tropical fish, the occasional meandering shark are jut a few of the sites that delight divers. Several large wrecks have also been submerged near the resort, awaiting exploration. With water temperatures averaging 80 degrees or warmer, gentle currents and visibility ranging from 50 to 100 feet, Roatan is a favorite among visitors who prefer their diving colorful, thrilling and unswerving.

Select from several entrees at lunch and dinner in our main dining room, or enjoy sumptuous buffets featuring regional specialties. Everything is freshly made and the selection is remarkable.

Covered and open air dining area is available with an adjacent sunset deck overlooking the lagoon, Anthony’s Key islet and Bailey’s Key. Service is buffet-style and by wait staff.

Three meals daily are included in our package rates. This includes coffee, tea, milk and juices. Soda and alcoholic beverages are available at an additional charge. Once a week, we hold a lively beach party and barbecue at Tabyana beach, an Island Fiesta Night and a luncheon on the key. These meals are included in the package rates.

For sandwiches, burgers, ice cream and refreshments, there’s also the Dolphin Café. Delicious appetizers are served in the Frangipani Bar in the late afternoon. These services are available at an additional cost.
