The Altitude Conversion Table makes altitude conversions easy. Unlike other classes and tables our calculator does the job
in one simple step. No need for multiple tables and rounding-up which allows for mistakes.
This table was invented by our own Dave Albright and updated several times. The latest version has a much nicer layout than previous versions. Made of polycarbonate and vinyl tank sticker material in bright colors it is designed to last. There are actually two calculators, one on each side. The first side is the original Bourdon Gauge to Equivalent Ocean Depth calculator. The second side calculator is a Actual Depth in Fresh Water to Equivalent Ocean Depth, for use with modern dive computers. Colors are reversed to make the tables look different so you don't accidently use the worng one. The calculator comes prepunched to fit our SSI logbooks or our previous '3-Ring' logbooks.
Caution: Altitude Diving requires specialized training. We do not recommend or condone diving at altitudes greater than 1000 feet without formal training. Preferably in one of our classes before using this calculator.
